Our Story
Naayika Dance Academy was founded in 2024, but its journey began much earlier through the passion and dedication of our founder, Gopika Krishna. Dance has always been her dream — she started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 2 and has been sharing her love for dance by teaching students since 2014.
Trained in Bharatanatyam, Folk-Dance, [[[]]]]Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi, Gopika has showcased her talent at the prestigious Kerala School and College Arts Festival, where she competed at the state level and earned an A grade. She was also fortunate to be mentored under the Kerala Kalathilakam Ambili Devi, an experience that shaped her artistry and teaching philosophy.
At Naayika, we welcome kids, teens, women, and learners of all ages and skill levels — from beginners taking their first steps to advanced dancers refining their technique. Beyond classes, our academy is committed to creating opportunities for students to shine through stage shows and cultural events, helping them grow in confidence and artistry.
